Outlets Near Seoul 2026

Pick by what you want to buy: luxury → Yeoju; sportswear, outdoor and Korean designers → Paju (Shinsegae and Lotte are on the same bus line); only half a day → Seoul Station or Dongdaemun in the city.

Shinsegae Yeoju: the most luxury

• Korea's top-selling outlet in 2025 (₩856 billion). The official list has about 258 brands, 57 of them luxury.
• Getting there: direct bus from Seoul Express Bus Terminal platform 29, first 09:00, last 19:00; back from the EAST entrance stop, 11:00–21:00. Or take the Gyeonggang Line to Yeoju Station and bus 902.
• For tourists: fill in a short questionnaire on the official Traveler page for a foreigner-only e-coupon; a foreigner tourist desk opens in the EAST zone from Oct 23; a daily day-tour shuttle for foreign visitors is sold on Klook and similar sites.

Shinsegae Paju + Lotte Paju: two in one day

• Both are on bus 2200 from Hapjeong (one stop from Hongdae). Shinsegae Paju is strongest in sports and outdoor; Lotte Paju has Prada, Valentino, Ferragamo and many Korean designer labels.
• Shinsegae Paju has an instant tax refund kiosk next to the 2F information desk.
• Lotte Paju's closing time varies by day (20:00–21:00); check its calendar first.

Hyundai Gimpo: the day before your flight

• About 15 minutes from Gimpo Airport and 40 from Incheon (Hyundai's own figures), the closest big outlet to Seoul, with Gucci, Burberry, Thom Browne, Max Mara and Canada Goose.
• By public transport: Line 9 Gaehwa Station Exit 2, then village bus 16 for about 28 minutes.
• Tax refund desk on 1F WEST, ₩15,000 minimum.
• A free shopping bus runs from Dongdaemun, Myeongdong and Hongdae (Wed–Sun); we haven't confirmed who can ride it, so check before you go.

In the city: Lotte Seoul Station, Hyundai City Outlet Dongdaemun

• Lotte Outlet Seoul Station is inside the station: 3 floors, mostly sports and young brands, no luxury. Mardi Mercredi opens on 2F from Oct 22.
• Hyundai City Outlet Dongdaemun is two subway stops from Myeongdong, with outlet stores of Handsome brands such as Time, Mine and System.

• Shinsegae Super Saturday (Oct 23–26): up to 30% extra off outlet prices at all five Shinsegae outlets, e.g. Nike 20% extra (30% for 2+), New Balance and Skechers 20%, Max Mara and Brunello Cucinelli 20% extra.
• Lotte Paju: Codegraphy up to 70% off, Columbia winter outerwear sale (Oct 22–28).

Tax refund and payment

• ₩15,000 minimum per receipt; instant refund under ₩1,000,000 per purchase and ₩5,000,000 per trip.
• Shinsegae outlets take Alipay, WeChat Pay, UnionPay and LINE Pay. This year Alipay/WeChat money-off offers were confirmed only around Lunar New Year (Feb) and Golden Week (May); check on site.
• Department-store tourist coupons (Lotte, Hyundai) don't work at outlets.

Closures

In 2026, Lotte and Hyundai outlets closed on Lunar New Year's Day and Chuseok Day; Shinsegae outlets closed on Lunar New Year's Day and stayed open over Chuseok. Lunar New Year 2027 is Feb 7.
